Year 9
Some schools have expressed an interest in starting GCSE Science in Y9, either in September after a two-year KS3, or after SATs in the summer term of Y9.
The main textbooks and teacher’s material will be available in January 2006, and so there’ll be plenty of time to plan for a start after SATs 2006, or in September with new Y9.
